What is Developer Relations at Jack Henry, anyway?
Developer Relations (often shortened to DevRel) is a team that helps Jack Henry connect with, educate, and advocate for the external developers who build on top of our products. It blends elements of engineering, product, marketing, and community‑building to create a feedback loop: DevRel teaches developers how to succeed on the platform, and then channels the community’s needs back into product teams so the platform keeps improving.
Key pillars:
- Developer education – documentation, sample code, tutorials
- Community & events – monthly office hours and conferences
- Product feedback – surfacing real‑world pain points, developer experience issues, and feature requests
- Advocacy – telling the product story in a way engineers trust, and championing the developer‑first point of view inside the company
