Once your site is up and running, you’ll likely want to track how users are using your site, which pages they’re visiting, when they visit your site, how they get there, etc.

Google Analytics is the industry standard tool for web analytics. It is free to use and is already being used by several other Jack Henry documentation sites.

If your site uses Google Analytics, set the googleAnalytics parameter in config.yaml to your Google Analytics measurement ID, which typically starts with “G-”. Doing this will tell Hugo to inject the proper Google Analytics JavaScript for your measurement ID into your documentation site.
