  • Added light/dark mode switcher to header. This allows the user to always use light mode, always use dark mode, or rely on the device settings for light/dark mode.
  • Slimmed down the header dropdown that provides links to other sites, for better cohesion with other header buttons.
  • Reduced image saturation a little in dark mode, for easier contrast on the eyes.
  • Modified light mode colors to match better with Jack Henry marketing colors.
  • Fixed tab order for header elements.

Release 1.7 - February 23, 2023

  • Scripts loaded by jhDocs now defer loading until after the page and its styles load, in order to avoid the flash of unstyled content. Pages will appear to load more quickly and smoothly as of this release.

Release 1.6 - February 22, 2023

  • Site searches now include a new “Path” element that shows the path down to the document from the site’s root, similar to breadcrumbs. This will help make the location of deeply nested search results easier to understand.

Release 1.5 - February 21, 2023

  • The active nav button will always scroll into view now. This is helpful for sites that have folders with lots of child documents.

Release 1.4 - February 15, 2023

  • Fixed breadcrumbs and section identity: Removed jh.dev and Home from all breadcrumbs, only displaying breadcrumbs for pages at level 2 or below. Hid the section identity UI since the breadcrumbs are functioning properly, but kept the hidden section identity in the DOM to be picked up by site search.
  • Switched headers (h1-h6) to use the Gellix marketing font from the One Jack Henry styling. We were already using Gellix throughout the jhDocs chrome, we just extended it to text headers as well. Content text continues to use the Noto Sans font, which is more legible than Gellix for smaller, denser blocks of text, which we tend to have in technical documentation.
