Create a poster image

Create a poster image

Overview

If you will be sharing your video via a website, you should create an image that can act as the “poster” image for your video.

This is the image that users see before they click on the video to start it.

It’s a good practice for the poster image to look similar to the presentation’s first (intro) slide.

When creating your poster image, use a 16:9 aspect ratio.

Tools

You can use any image editor for this step, including PhotoShop, Microsoft Paint, etc.

You can also use SnagIt to grab a screen capture of your presentation’s first slide (typically an intro slide) and use that as the poster image.
