Write the outline

Process

Start by writing a simple bulleted list that outlines the high-level points you want to make in your video.

For now, only focus on the top-level points of your presentation. Starting with just an outline frees you from the pressure of coming up with the entire script at this early stage of the process.

Tools

You can use any text editor for this step, but it can be helpful to use an editor that allows you to insert images, since we’ll do that later in the storyboard step.

Both Google Docs and Microsoft Word are good options for writing your outline.
