Manage Debit Card Limits (Symitar)

Tutorials > MyCardRules/Debit Cards/Credit Cards > Manage Debit Card Limits (Symitar)

As a Symitar customer, I would like to manage debit card limits through MyCardRules.

Steps

To manage a customer’s debit card limits through MyCardRules, use the CardAlrtMod operation.

This operation allows you to update debit card limit settings that flow through the MyCardRules feature set.

Important note

MyCardRules is only available to institutions that use CPS as their transaction processor.

  • If your institution does not use CPS, the MyCardRules integration path is not available.
  • If your credit union is not CPS‑processed, or if you simply need to get/set debit card limits without using MyCardRules, you can manage card limits directly through SymXchange using the getCard* and updateCard* APIs.
