Creating a SymXchange Instance – Enhanced

System Web Console > SymXchange Web Services – Enhanced > Creating a SymXchange Instance – Enhanced

You can create and configure a new SymXchange instance in System Web Console.

  • Log on to the System Web Console.
  • Click SymXchange > SymXchange Web Services – Enhanced.
  • The SymXchange Instances screen appears.
  • Click the Create Instance (+) button.
  • The Create Instance dialog box appears.
  • Select your desired SYM number from the Select a SYM drop-down menu.
  • In the Name field, enter a name for your SymXchange instance.
  • If you wish to copy an existing SYM, make your selection in the Copy From drop-down menu. Otherwise, accept the default option of New.
  • Click OK.

You have successfully created a SymXchange instance. The Instance Info, Settings, Advanced Details, and Logs tiles for this instance appear. This instance remains in progress and does not appear in symop until you complete additional required fields for full provisioning.
